Miley Cyrus is getting ready for the Golden Globes, which will take place this Sunday, January 11th. The 16-year-old star has received her first nomination for her song "I Thought I Lost You" from the animated movie Bolt. Miley co-wrote the song, and she could win a Golden Globe for that. The show will air live on NBC at 8 PM EST.

Using their famous personas for a good cause, Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray Cyrus visited the young patients at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital in Nashville last Tuesday (Dec. 23). The duo brought happiness to the facility signing Christmas songs and signing autographs for all the patients. The country singer was also there to hand out a check for for $60,000 to the Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic on behalf of the nonprofit Fraternal Order of Eagles. One patient said, “Me and Jacob watch the show every day. It was worth it, the lines and everything.”Miley Cyrus
